HAWE K61N Hydraulic Axial Piston Pump is a fixed displacement axial piston pump for open-circuit mobile hydraulics. It works on the bent axis principle and is used mainly to the power take-off on commercial vehicle transmissions. As a fixed displacement pump, it delivers a constant geometric displacement, with flow changing according to rotation speed. HAWE K61N-DIN has displacement sizes from 12.6 to 108.0 cm3/rev, each with a nominal pressure of 400 bar.

The K61N is built for mobile vehicles that require a compact high-pressure pump with predictable flow behaviour. Its design combines an optimized power-to-weight ratio with high speed capability, different shaft and flange versions, smooth running across the entire speed range and low heat generation. Compared with K60N, the K61N-DIN documentation specifies mounting flange according to ISO 7653, an aluminium pump housing with a cast iron connection cover, and lower listed weights across the nominal sizes.

HAWE gives continuous rotation speeds of 2300 min-1 for sizes 012 to 034, 1900 min-1 for sizes 040 to 064 and 1600 min-1 for sizes 084 and 108. Brief maximum speeds are 3000, 2500 and 2100 min-1 for those same groups. The pump supports clockwise or anticlockwise rotation, and the direction can be changed by turning the connection cover by 180 degrees. Pressure connections are G 3/4 for sizes 012 to 064 and G 1 for sizes 084 to 108, with a G 1/2 drain port. HAWE features municipal trucks, fire trucks, loading cranes, elevating work platforms, tipper trucks, skip trucks, suction dredgers and sewer cleaning vehicles as intended applications.

The HAWE pump uses hydraulic fluid according to DIN 51 524 Parts 1 to 3, ISO VG 10 to 68, with ISO 4406 18/16/13 cleanliness. Documented weights range from 6.9 to 13.9 kg depending on nominal size, which makes the K61N-DIN comparatively light within the listed fixed displacement range. HAWE also permits biologically degradable HEPG and HEES fluids up to the stated temperature limit, provided the manufacturer specifications and seal compatibility are observed. Rexton Hydraulic offers HAWE K60N pump sales, professional repair, testing, maintenance and replacement services.
