In the PCR range, an axial piston hydraulic motor is directly linked to a planetary reduction gearbox. The hydraulic pressure acts upon the piston motor that delivers torque to the planetary gearbox for controlled rotation of the excavator's upper structure. To ensure greater operational safety, the PCR engine is equipped with a parking brake of negative type, which can reliably fix the swing mechanism when the hydraulic pressure drops.

Nachi offers the PCR range in five distinct models: PCR-1B, PCR-2B, PCR-3B, PCR-4B and PCR-5B. The displacement capacity varies between 236 cm³/rev to 907 cm³/rev depending upon the model. Similarly, the torque capacity also varies between 627 to 3,537 Nm and operating pressure varies between 21.6 MPa to 24.5 MPa. These models are suitable for compact excavators between 2.5 to 8 tons.
