HYDAC Hydraulic Gear Motor

HYDAC Hydraulic Gear Motor is a small yet efficient external gear motor used for converting hydraulic pressure and oil flow to rotational movements. It is ideal for application in mobile machines and industrial applications where effective power transmission, easy installation and reliable performance are essential. This HYDAC motor range is available in two main categories that include MGE101 Size 1 range and MGE102 Size 2 range.

MGE101 range comes with displacement capacity from 1.07 cm³/rev to 8.51 cm³/rev whereas MGE102 range comes with displacement capacity from 4.95 cm³/rev to 28.21 cm³/rev. Therefore, it is possible for clients to choose their desired gear motors based on required flow, torque, speed and machine duty. Based on different models, maximum nominal pressure can be as high as 260 bar, maximum intermittent pressure can be as high as 280 bar and maximum peak pressure can be as high as 300 bar.

HYDAC gear motors are offered for either clockwise, counter-clockwise or bi-directional motion. But the pressure rating of the bi-directional type is relatively lower compared to the unidirectional motor. Several kinds of shaft designs are available like tapered keyed shafts and SAE splined shafts. There are other types of shaft designs too, which include square flanges, two hole mounting flanges, SAE mounting configuration and outboard bearing models for increased shaft loading capability.

The motors can accommodate various port designs such as ISO pipe threading ports, SAE O ring ports, DIN square flanges and SAE flange connections. NBR seals are standard, while FPM seals are available for extended fluid temperature range applications. The motors operate on appropriate HL and HLP mineral hydraulic oils with a viscosity range of 12 to 100 cSt.
