HYDAC MPF Hydraulic Axial Piston Motor

HYDAC MPF Hydraulic Axial Piston Motor is an advanced and efficient fixed-displacement motor desinged for use in both open and closed hydraulic circuits. The motor is intended to produce stable rotary motion, high torque and steady performance at low speeds of operation. Therefore, it becomes useful in machines where steady displacement and torque output is necessary.

The MPF200 series of motors are offered in several variants with displacements ranging from 28.6 to 135.6 cm³/rev; thus, users can choose the optimal motor depending on their required speed, flow and torque. The motor works at the nominal pressure of 450 bar and can go peak pressure of up to 500 bar. Depending on the selected size of the motor, it can operate continuously at speed up to 4300 rpm and generate torque of up to 928 Nm. Additionally, its maximum power output is up to 360 kW.

The MPF motor is optimized by HYDAC for easy start-up and good performance at low speeds. These two qualities will make sure that jerking is minimized and good control of machinery during startup, shutdown and low-speed operations is facilitated. Both clockwise and anti-clockwise rotations of the motor are possible and this gives the designers more flexibility when designing a hydraulic system. Moreover, customers have the freedom to select their preferred mounting flanges, output shafts, radial or axial ports and surface protection.

Optional purge relief valves can be used in order to replace the oil in the closed circuit and to regulate motor and system temperatures. High-pressure relief valves will protect the motor from pressure overload while recharge will be used to minimize the chances of having cavitation during uncontrolled motor overrun. Speed sensors may be selected to facilitate the detection of motor speed and direction.

The FPM seals are the standard seal for the motor and operates with suitable HLP hydraulic oils.
