Daikin V1515 Series Double Hydraulic Pump is made up of two V15 piston pumps in one single housing. The displacement of each pump is 14.8 cm3/rev, which makes it possible for the pump to deliver two independent high-pressure circuits from a single shaft. Unlike VD Series, where the pump is made up of a piston pump and a vane pump, V1515 has two pistons pumps. Hence, both the outputs can have pressure-compensated features.
Pressure adjustments for the end-side pump are in the range of 0.8 to 7 MPa and 1.5 to 14 MPa, while the shaft-side pump has a range of 3.5 to 21 MPa. As such, the pump is capable of handling circuits with varying pressure requirements. Both pumps use pressure-compensator controls, where in case the pressure in each of the circuits equals the selected value, the pump will reduce displacement and avoid any unnecessary fluid delivery. Due to their independent control, a change in pressure in one of the circuits will not necessitate using the same setting in the other.
Discharge rate adjustment screw is not included in Daikin V1515 series. Users need to consider the unit depending on the pre-determined maximum pump capacity that is 14.8 cm3/rev in each segment. The pump works on the basis of clockwise rotation when seen from the end of the shaft. The pump works only on the petroleum hydraulic oil. The arrangement for case filling and draining is different from one another.
