HAWE R, RG hydraulic radial piston pump is a valve-controlled radial piston pump developed for hydraulic systems that need compact construction, dependable high-pressure delivery and accurate flow selection. HAWE designs the pump elements as arranged in star form around an eccentric, with the output from the individual pump elements combined to feed one or more pressure outlets. For larger delivery requirements, up to 42 pump elements can be arranged in six stacked stars, giving the series a wide selection range while keeping the pump package compact.

HAWE R, RG version uses roller bearings as the eccentric bearing and is also suitable for very low rotation speeds. The type RG version uses plain bearings and is intended for demanding operating conditions where longer service life is required, although it is not designed for low rotation speeds because the plain bearing requires a lubricating film. The closed pump housing also gives the pump flexible installation options, including use as a motor pump outside an oil tank or installation inside the container of a hydraulic power pack. Multiple pressure outlets can be used when the system requires the same or different volumetric flows from one pump arrangement.
