The Oilgear PVWJ-022 Variable Displacement Axial Piston Pump is a compact variable-displacement axial piston pump for medium-duty mobile and industrial hydraulic systems. With a displacement of 22 cc/rev (≈ 0.66 in³/rev / 10.8 ml/rev) it’s in the lower-to-mid range of the PVWJ series — perfect for applications that need reliable flow, moderate pressure and control without the bulk of bigger pumps.
Although compact the PVWJ-022 performs well. It has a continuous pressure rating of 344.8 bar (5,000 psi) and a peak pressure of 400 bar (≈ 5,800 psi). Oilgear At 1800 RPM under rated pressure and standard inlet conditions the pump delivers around 4.2 gpm (≈ 15.9 l/min) — enough for controlled hydraulic output where small-to-medium flow is enough. Oilgear It also goes up to 3000 RPM for varying system demands.
Oilgear’s internal design makes the PVWJ-022 reliable even under continuous use. The rotating group and swashplate mechanism are designed for stability and wear resistance for smooth operation. The pump works with lower viscosity hydraulic fluids and is stable in applications with frequent start/stop cycles or variable flow control. The PVWJ series — including the 022 — has lower maintenance needs and cost effective performance in medium duty applications.
The PVWJ-022 is perfect for equipment where compactness and controlled flow matters more than high volume — small hydraulic presses, compact mobile machinery, fluid-power actuators, servo-controlled systems, maintenance or auxiliary circuits.
