Oilgear D-15030 Legacy Variable Displacement Pump is conceived as a heavy-duty, two-way hydraulic pump, specifically suited to those industrial operations which demand very accurate speed control, high pressures, as well as long life. The Oilgear D15030 is part of its prestigious “D” series range, continuing its legacy of its industrial-grade hydraulic designs, tested for decades in industrial settings.
It comes equipped with Oilgear’s reliable radial rolling piston design providing smooth hydraulic control. In this case, the power consumption depends on the work done. The hydraulic fluid flow can change based on the system load due to the variable displacement feature in the device. The system ensures power consumption is proportional to the work done. This reduces the generated heat caused by the throttling of power in the system.
D-15030 is designed to work in the open loop system of the hydraulic circuit and allows a maximum displacement of 517.66 cc/rev. This makes the D-15030 capable of handling a large amount of flow and a large amount of pressure in an application. The maximum speed of the D-15030 is 900 RPM. It has a maximum continuous pressure of 3500 psi.
The Oilgear D Series pumps, such as the D-15030 pump, set new standards in speed control for processing machines. The pump reacts to electric hand servos or preset speed position controls instantly, giving operators precision in motion control without complicated external flow-control valves. This capability simplifies hydraulic circuits, reduces component count, and lowers overall maintenance requirements.
The internally mounted D-15030 features a positive, variable delivery radial piston pump, complete with high-pressure relief valves and integrated control options. An additional gear pump with relief valve and Oilgear’s pintle check-type suction and return valves may also be provided, depending on the configuration. These support various differential or non-differential two-way hydraulic systems.
With a two-way variable displacement pump such as the D-15030, many traditional directional and flow control valves can be eliminated altogether by system designers. This simplifies the power and control circuits, reduces the electrical control complexity, and cushions the flow reversals for smoother operation of the machine and longer life of components.
