The Oilgear PVV-440 is a heavy duty, high-performance hydraulic pump for large industrial and mobile applications. With a 440cc/rev displacement it’s designed to deliver high flow and hydraulic power in demanding systems. This pump is for when your machine needs large fluid volume at high pressure – heavy presses, large industrial power packs, marine hydraulics, mining machines and large material handling units.
PVV-440 pumps is built to handle tough conditions. it’s continuous pressure rated to 450 bar (6,500 psi) and peak pressure rated to 500 bar (7,250 psi). Maximum speed is 1,200 RPM for stable and reliable operation under high load for long periods. At 1,000 RPM and continuous rated pressure the pump delivers about 104 gpm (394 l/min). At 1,200 RPM it can deliver up to 125 gpm (473 l/min). This high volume output means your hydraulic system gets consistent fluid supply even under heavy duty cycles.
Inside the PVV-440 uses advanced internal design and proven materials for durability and long life. The rotating group has a pressure lubricated swashblock, polymer journal bearings and hardened cylinder surfaces. This design reduces internal wear, excellent contamination resistance and stable performance even with varying fluid viscosities or high temperature or pressure. This makes the pump suitable for harsh environments or when using fluids with lower lubricity.
Control and performance flexibility is one of its strengths. The PVV-440 has multiple control options to suit different system requirements. Its power and flow capacity combined with stable control response makes it ideal for applications that need large hydraulic force, long runs and high reliability.
