Rexroth A20VG/A22VG Axial Piston Variable Double Pump - Series 40 is a hydraulic fluid flow generator, controller, and regulator. It is intended for mobile uses, such construction equipment. They have a small design for confined spaces during installation.

For hydrostatic drives in closed circuits, the A22VG variable double pump features two axial piston rotary groups in a swashplate configuration. The displacement and the drive speed are proportionate to the two flows. By adjusting the cradle, the flow can be altered incrementally. It is possible to modify both circuits separately from one another. In swashplate-designed axial piston units, the piston arrangement is axial with regard to the drive shaft. The hydraulic fluid in a closed circuit travels straight back to the hydraulic pump after passing via the consumer.

There are various control devices available based on specifications like swivel angle. The displacement is altered by adjusting the swashplate's swivel angle, which also affects the piston stroke. Change the direction of flow by adjusting the swashplate to the neutral position, which allows for operation reversal. The stroking piston is used to hydraulically adjust the swivel angle.
