Poclain PMV0-18 Axial Piston Medium Duty Pump

Poclain PMV0-18 Axial Piston Medium Duty Pump is designed as a variable displacement hydraulic pump for closed-loop hydrostatic transmission. It has a swash plate-type construction to continuously vary the flow in both forward and reverse directions depending on the speed and angle of the swash plate. The working pressure is 210 bar, 3045 PSI, while its maximum pressure is 300 bar, 4351 PSI. This pump is suitable in medium-duty applications where flexibility and control are critical.

The pump has a theoretical flow rate of 64.3 L/min at a rated speed of 3600 rpm with 17.85 cm³ per revolution displacement. The pump also has an internal charge pump, which could be used for keeping circuit pressure to eradicate cavitation and allow functioning. Control options comprise both direct mechanical and servo hydraulic, which increases applicability with most system requirements. The design of the pump is compact, which makes it appropriate for installations with limited space.

The PMV0-18 also offered optional high pressure relief, an auxiliary gear pump, a flushing valve, and a charge pressure filter.
