Parker Bent Axis Variable Motors - Series V16 is designed to work with high performance working machines in both open and closed circuit systems. The implemented motors have displacement sizes of 220 and 270 cc, with the highest work pressure reaching 550 bar and nominal pressure of 500 bar. The V16 motors have high revolution ratios of up to 5.5:1 and they can also rotate while in a zero displacement position, thus users can operate them at a satisfactory different speeds and loads. Thus their application is appropriate in oil and gas drilling, mining, largescale farming and such like industries.
Reliability of the V16 Series is further exhibited in its 9-piston configuration design that high starting torque is experienced indicating that the machine can work efficiently in extreme conditions. The compact engine design, strong roller bearing caps and a stiff synchronizing long shaft make it possible to use the motor at high speed and high pressure without compromising the longevity of the motor. This enables the V16 motors to effectively mitigate the effects of torsional vibrations, which allows for stable operation and minimises any wear and tear damage.
In addition, V16 Series motor provide several methods of control for the end user through additional valve and sensing elements, which includes pressure relief and flush valves. This permits better control and monitoring in order to enhance operation within a complex hydraulic networks. The versatility of applications is enhanced by the various mounting configurations of the V16, such as ISO, Cartridge, and SAE configurations, which helps in easy fitting in most systems.
