Oilgear PVWC-022 Variable Displacement Axial Piston Hydraulic Pump is designed specifically for closed hydraulic systems, where fine control, high efficiency, and reliable pressure management are required. Built into Oilgear's PVWC Series, this pump is intended for operation under conditions involving hydraulic or low-lubricity fluid mediums.
With a maximum theoretical displacement of 22.1 ml/rev, the PVWC-022 is capable of accurate flow delivery and responds dynamically to changing system conditions. Variable displacement technology also makes the pump effective in controlling output, thus reducing energy loss, heat generation, and maintaining a stable system performance. This is especially true when dealing with closed-loop systems where accurate flow control directly affects machine response.
It has a continuous pressure rating of 207 bar, guaranteeing reliable performance even during long cycles. In the case of peak pressures in load spikes with a 10% duty cycle, the motor is capable of handling 240 bar peak pressure and has a maximum peak pressure rating of 350 bar. At a speed of up to 3600 RPM, the PVWC-022 has a maximum flow rate of 8.5 gpm (32.2 l/min) at 1800 RPM.
In terms of dimensions, the PVWC-022 can be provided both with and without a charge pump, depending on system design needs. The portable design and side ports of this pump make it easy to install in a space-constrained hydraulic system and at the same time easy to access for maintenance. The rotating group inside the pump is designed using hard-edged elements, which provide improved durability despite the high-pressure continuity.
