Oilgear PVWC-011 Variable Displacement Axial Piston Hydraulic Pump is designed for closed hydraulic systems where precise control and efficiency are demanded, and where low-viscosity and low-lubricity fluids are used. The oil pump is a component of the PVWC series designed by Oilgear, who centre this axial piston pump around an efficient and proven rotodynamic group for low noise, compactness, and stability of performance in hydrostatic applications.
With a maximum theoretical displacement rate of 10.8 ml/rev, functional control of fluid flow is made possible by the PVWC-011 when high levels of precise motion control are required by a system. Variable displacement capability means that the rate at which the fluid is displaced can be varied according to the system requirements, thereby increasing efficiency and preventing power wastage through heat generation.
The pump is designed for and rated at continuous pressures of 275 bar (4000 psi). Additionally, the pump is qualified for operating at peak pressures of 4500 psi (310 bar) at 10% duty cycle, and an absolute maximum peak of 5000 psi (350 bar). Therefore, the pump withstands high pressures and can function under high-pressure hydrostatic operations.
With a maximum speed rating of 3600 RPM, the PVWC-011 pump provides a flow of 4.1 gpm (15.5 l/min) at 1800 RPM at a continuous pressure and standard inlet conditions. It is thus well suited for closed-loop systems where there is a need for strict flow and pressure requirements.
As far as the dimensions are concerned, the PVWC-011 comes with or without the charge pump, giving the systems designer some flexibility in designing the systems. The weight of the PVWC-011 with the charge pump is 17.3 kg, whereas the weight of the PVWC-011 without the charge pump is 15.2 kg.
Oilgear PVWC-011 pump are used in hydrostatic drives, industrial power drives, mobile power drives, test stands, or closed-loop hydraulic systems where small packages, high-pressure designs, or precise control are required. Internally, the pump includes hardened wear surfaces and robust internal components designed to withstand demanding conditions with low-viscosity hydraulic fluids.
