Linde HMV-02 D Variable Displacement Double Motor

Linde HMV-02 D Variable Displacement Double Motor is an axial piston motor available in open and closed circuit types with displacement sizes from  105D and 165D cc. Linde Hydraulics has designed a novel axial piston motor that can reach maximum speeds greater than that of traditional swash plate designs. Wider transmission speed ranges—which are typically only attainable with modular transmissions—can also be attained with a high displacement volume in a compact design. The HMV-02 D has a reduced footprint and weighs around 30% less than a motor plus transfer gear box.

The Innovative design of two in-line swash plate rotating groups in a "face-to-face" configuration allowed for the enhanced power density. Consequently, the displacement volume of the two motors may be adjusted with just one control. Due to the inner lateral stresses being corrected, both rotating groups only need one drive shaft and two (rather than four) bearings.
