Liebherr A6VM hydraulic motor belongs to the family of variable-displacement axial piston motors. It is intended for high-torque and adjustable speed drive systems. Liebherr A6VM hydraulic motor has an axial piston rotary group with the bent-axis design. High-pressure hydraulic oil acts upon pistons, which results in the creation of force leading to the torque generation at the drive shaft. The design of the device features a variable-displacement mechanism, which changes the displacement of the piston group to regulate the dependence of motor speed on its torque. With high displacement, the motor provides increased torque at the required pressure difference, whereas a smaller displacement ensures high rotational speeds at a certain flow rate.
