Eaton Vickers V2010 Hydraulic Pump
Eaton Vickers V2010 Hydraulic Pump
Eaton Vickers V2010 Hydraulic Pump combines two fixed-displacement vane sections in one compact housing. It can serve separate circuits or combine delivery. Rexton Hydraulic checks both section capacities, shaft, rotation and port positions before supply or repair.

Eaton Vickers V2010 Hydraulic Pump is a two-section pump designed inside the same housing with fixed-displacement vane-pump sections. Double Balanced-Vane Pump could provide flows for two hydraulic circuits or combine flows if such option is possible in the design of the system. This pump provides shaft-end flow rates of about 6 to 13 US gallons per minute and cover-end flow rates of about 1 to 7 US gallons per minute, depending on the complete model code.
Each section pumps out a constant volume of the oil for every rotation of the shaft. Thus, the speed of the pump operation defines the flow rate that could be obtained. Since each section could be installed with different displacements, this pump allows supplying different flow rates from the same drive.
Balanced-vane design contributes to reducing the excessive radial loads on the common shaft and bearings. This makes the operation smoother, reduces the vibration, and allows delivering hydraulics reliably if the oil in the system has right viscosity, quality and inlet parameters.
Some selected V2010 pumps models could work at pressures of about 172 bar. But allowed pressure could differ in each section depending on flow, speed, hydraulic fluid, temperature and other factors. We recommond operators should verify the technical limits of the complete identification code before commissioning the pump.
Shafts, mounting flanges, port locations, cover configuration and rotation will vary between units. Both pumping chambers have to be compatible with the machine specifications. Choosing the right pump based on the V2010 series alone might lead to inaccuracy in flow, mounting and connections information.
A reduction in output from one hydraulic circuit, unstable pressure, unusual noises, overheating and shaft seal leaks could point to pump wear. Polluted fluid, inlet restriction, inappropriate viscosity and damage to the vanes, cam rings and pressure plates could lead to such issues. It is recommended that both pumping chambers be inspected, as well as the shaft, bearings, seals and housing.
Rexton Hydraulic offers sales, inspection and repair services for Eaton Vickers V2010 hydraulic pumps. Provide us with your complete model number or take a photo of the nameplate prior to ordering. Our team can check both chamber specifications, pressure requirements, shaft, mounting, ports and rotation.
