Danfoss Frame F Open Circuit Axial Piston Pump Series 45 is designed with a single servo piston design with a cradle-type swashplate set in polymercoated journal bearings. These pumps are available with an optional adjustable maximum displacement limiter. The adjustable stop limits the pump’s maximum displacement. These pumps comes in 74 and 90 sizes, with a nominal pressure range of 310 [4500] and 260 [3770], and maximum pressure of 400 [5800] and 350 [5075].

Danfoss Series 45 Frame F open circuit piston pumps convert input torque into hydraulic power. The input shaft transmits rotational force from the prime mover to the cylinder block. Their tapered roller bearings support the shaft at the front and rear of the pump. Danfoss Frame F's cylinder block connects to the input shaft through splines on the shaft. Moreover, These pump are available with a lip-seal at the front end of the pump, which prevents leakage where the shaft exits the pump housing.

These pump's spinning cylinder block contains nine reciprocating pistons. Each piston has a brass slipper connected at one end by a ball joint. Their valve plate connects one half of the cylinder block to pump inlet and the other half to pump outlet. These pumps are commonly used in mobile equipment which requires constant performance and low noise level, some of applications are tractors, combines and harvesters.
