Oilgear

Oilgear is an American company whose origins go back to more than a century when it was founded in   Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1921. A century later, the company still enjoys a great reputation as a manufacturer hydraulic  equipment running on fluid power. The company’s product line includes hydraulic pumps, valves, hydraulic motors, meters and other components as well. Currently based in Traverse City, Michigan, this company seems to have done it all. From producing hydraulic presses to facing the hard times during the great depression, Oilgear has always believed in looking ahead in its business journey.

Through these years, it has slowly increased its product offerings, and had also acquired a unique distinction of using microprocessors with Hydraulic systems. From early 1980s, the company has been spending significant resources on developing research and development in the area pertaining to computer controlled manufacturing systems.
