Poclain PM50-40 Axial Piston Pump

Poclain PM50-40 Axial Piston Pump is a variable displacement pump for closed-loop hydrostatic transmissions in demanding applications. This pump uses a swashplate to deliver a continuous variable flow, adjusting flow in both forward and reverse directions according to rotation speed and swashplate angle. The PM50-40 has multiple control options: servo mechanical, servo hydraulic, electrical and electro-proportional, for various industrial applications.

Designed with a displacement of 40 cm³/rev, the PM50-40 has a theoretical flow of 144 L/min at its rated speed. It is rated up to 320 bar and peak pressure up to 400 bar for medium to heavy duty applications. The pump has high pressure relief valves to manage circuit pressure and prevent overloading, for system safety. An optional charge pump is available to maintain low pressure circuit integrity, for more durability and operational consistency.

This pump is developed in single and tandem configurations, which makes it adaptable to complex hydraulic systems. SAE B and SAE BB mounting flanges are available for easy installation on various configurations. Poclain PM50-40 is constructed with additional features such as flushing valves, charge line filters, auxiliary gear pumps. This pump is designed for efficient and robust performance in harsh environments.
