Oilgear D-3517 Legacy Variable Displacement Pump is a well-established two-way hydraulic pump that is known for its speed control and reliability in industrial applications. It was manufactured as part of Oilgear’s famous D Series range and comes from a product line with a legacy that was established with several decades of reliability in tough processing applications.

D-3517 employs a variable displacement, radial rolling piston system, which provides a hydraulic output proportional to the system requirements. This minimizes power wastage, which could result from either fluid bypass, overheating, or pressure drop. Also, there is a heightened responsiveness to either electronic hand servos or preset speed position controls, which makes it suitable for applications requiring a smooth acceleration, controlled deceleration, and stable flow reversal.

The D-3517 pump is designed for use in open loop hydraulic systems and works effectively in a maximum continuous pressure of 2100 psi and a maximum operating speed of 1200 RPM. Its internal design ensures a reliable service life, regardless of whether the system remains loaded or varies due to continuous service. The D-3517 pump features built-in high-pressure relief valves, pintle-type suction and return valves, and customizable control systems to simplify the configuration of the hydraulic system, thereby eliminating the necessity for other control valves.

With infinite flow variation capability, as well as a cushioned flow reversal feature, the Oilgear D-3517 works towards enhancing the responsiveness, efficiency, and design simplicity of hydraulic circuits.
