Oilgear D-23030 Legacy Variable Displacement Pump is part of a legendary D Series range of displacement pumps that have gained a worldwide reputation for their durability and precision in controlling industrial hydraulic systems. It is a two-way open-loop variable displacement pump and provides consistent performance in applications that require precision in speed control and maximum operating pressures.

Capable of operating at maximum continuous pressure of 3500 psi, the D-23030 is designed for rugged applications such as metalworking, plastics, presses, test rigs, and other high-pressure hydraulic systems. The maximum displacement rate of 681.7 cc/rev makes it possible for the pump to deliver efficient flow rate as well as precise control and quick response for varied load conditions. The pump has an instantaneous response rate for electric hand servos and preset speed position controls, making it ideal for precise motion control applications.

The D-23030, which is an Oilgear model, has the advantage of being a truly variable displacement pump. It uses power only as needed for the work done. This makes it highly efficient and avoids wastage of power. It thereby eliminates the generation of heat as the result of throttling, restrictive orifices, and large piping systems, and helps in prolonging the life of the used fluid as well as reducing the cooling requirement for the hydraulic systems.

Internally, there is a multiple radial rolling piston high-pressure pumping system, along with one or two control options, depending on the model. The system has high-pressure relief valves, which are internally integrated, along with an auxiliary gear pump, featuring a relief valve for greater dependability and safety. The Oilgear pintle check-type suction/return valve ensures proper functionality in either differential or non-differential two-way hydraulic systems.

Through the application of the D-23030 two-way pump design, system designers are in a position to eliminate many external directional and flow control valves. The system is also able to naturally cushion reversal of flow. The mechanical shock is reduced as evidenced by longer component life.
