Oilgear C-817 Radial Rolling Piston Pump is designed as constant delivery and single action to satisfy the demand of constant flow and pressure control in open-loop systems. It is part of Oilgear’s long-trusted C-Series of pumps and is based on the successful design of the radial rolling piston pump which has provided reliable service in this way since 1921.

The pump possesses a fixed-displacement design that guarantees a smooth and predictable flow of the oil. This capability is particularly important for an industrial flow circuit that requires accuracy and reliability. In this respect, the Oilgear C-817 has the capability to handle low to medium flows, given that the maximum displacement of the pump stands at 31.95 cc/rev.

The maximum operational speed of C-817 is 1800 RPM. The motor is capable of withstanding a maximum continuous pressure of 2100 psi. The motor is well suited to work in continuous duty applications. The motor is of radial rolling piston design, which helps to equally distribute the loads, thereby increasing the motor life. The fluid discharge takes place in one direction. The directional control valves help to reverse this discharge, whenever necessary.

Oilgear C-Type pumps are known to be flexible and versatile designs. They offer the actual flow rate depending on the pump size, pressure rating, and speed of the drive shaft, making it possible to match the pump to the exact flow required by the designer of the system. Every pump comes with a flanged adjustable relief valve, protecting the hydraulic system from excessive pressure. The other model, the C-817, can be configured to turn in a clockwise, counterclockwise, or reversing input shaft rotation.

In cases where secondary hydraulic operations are needed, there are CG-type versions of oil gear that incorporate internal gear pumps and relief valves for pilot or secondary circuits. Additionally, suction, check, and back-pressure relief valves may be specified for supercharge applications.
