Oilgear PVWC-014 Variable Displacement Axial Piston Hydraulic Pump is designed as a compact and high-pressure pump addressed to closed-loop hydrostatic applications where high levels of precision, efficiency, and durability are demanded. As part of the PVWC Series by Oilgear, this particular pump is intended to operate with low-viscosity and low-lubricity fluids and provide smooth and quiet performance even in harsh conditions.

Based on a proven rotating group by Oilgear, a stable level of control is maintained over a wide range of operation by the PVWC-014. Its variable displacement system ensures a continuous change in output flow in accordance with system requirements, preventing wastage of power and preventing generation of heat. Therefore, higher efficiency, smoother motion control, and greater longevity of components can be achieved by using this water pump unit.

Boasting a theoretical displacement rate of 14.1 ml/rev, the PVWC-014 offers well-rounded fluidic discharge adequate for miniature yet high-performance fluidic circuits. Rated for continuous use at 275 bar (4000 psi), and with support for 4500 psi (310 bar) for 10% duty cycle requirements and a maximum peak pressure of 5000 psi (350 bar), this miniature hydraulic circuit works well for applications that require precise pressure and flow rate control.

The engine runs at a maximum speed of 3600 RPM, with its flow rate of 5.4 gpm (20.4 l/min) at 1800 RPM under rated continuous pressure and appropriate inlet conditions. This is ideal for a compact closed loop system requiring quick response, precise control, and predictable output without compromising on efficiency.

Oilgear PVWC-014 comes both with and without the charge pump built-in, catering to the flexibility required in the design. It occupies minimal space and can thus be conveniently coupled in restricted machining systems. The pump contains robust internal features and machined surfaces to guarantee its extended life even when the pump is set to operate at high pressure and high speeds.
