Oilgear PVWW-098 Variable Displacement Axial Piston Hydraulic Pump is intended for open hydraulic systems that require high performance during operation with hydraulic and low-lubricity fluids. This particular product is part of Oilgear's PVWW Series of pumps that are designed for applications requiring high-water-content fluids that can pose lubrication and durability problems for standard hydraulic pumps. The Oilgear PVWW-098 Pump not only provides high performance and reliability but is also environmentally friendly since no harm comes to the fluid during operation.

Due to its maximum theoretical displacement rate of 98.3 ml/rev, the PVWW-098 exhibits high volumetric displacement rate capability and smooth flow control. By incorporating a variable displacement system, it is able to adjust its displacement or output automatically, thus making it energy-efficient and Less Heat Generation and also operates smoothly irrespective of varying loads. All these factors are essential when working under varying operating demands.

The pump is designed to handle a rated continuous pressure of 137.9 bars and a maximum pressure of 172.5 bars. The PVWW-098 pump, running at a maximum speed of 1800 RPM, is able to deliver a high flow rate of 42.8 gpm or 162.2 liters per minute at the rated continuous pressure. This flow rate allows it to be used in medium or high-pressure hydraulic systems requiring a consistent flow rate.

PVWW-098 comes with a Frame Size C housing and SAE “C” 2-bolt face mount. The pump weighs 46.8 kg. This shows the robustness and durability of the device. Ports on the top and bottom and rear make the device more versatile while integrating into the system design. This gives the device an advantage while installing and integrating into a system or design.

Internally, the pump features hardened hardware and low-wear surfaces on the bearings that make it more reliable when working with fluids like those found in low lubricity and water hydraulic fluids.
