The Oilgear PVM-011 axial piston pump is part of the legacy PVM series-a line of variable-displacement, open-loop piston pumps designed for flexible hydraulic applications. With a maximum displacement of 11 cc/rev, it serves well at those instances when one needs to have controlled flow and very precise hydraulic performance in compact or light-duty systems.
Its specifications allow for a maximum of 260 bar of continuous pressure rating and a maximum speed of 3600 RPM; thus, PVM-011 is capable of quick response while assuring steady output. For example, at 1800 RPM under rated continuous pressure (and with proper inlet conditions), the pump is able to deliver approximately 4.3 gallons per minute (~16.3 l/min) of hydraulic flow. This combination of modest displacement, high speed, and reasonable pressure makes the PVM-011 a good fit for auxiliary hydraulic circuits, compact machines, small actuators, or other applications where controlled hydraulic flow matters more than volume.
What sets the PVM-011 apart is the variable-displacement design, adding further flexibility for the system designer and OEM. The output flow can be regulated based on demand, making this pump suitable for everything from simple hydraulic drives to more complicated load-sensing or pressure-compensated circuits.
