Oilgear XD5-150 Variable Displacement Axial Piston Pump provides high hydraulic performance into a compact mobile package. With a displacement of 150.0 cc/rev, this model is suitable for heavy-duty industrial and off-road mobile systems that need high flow, high pressure and reliable operation. It’s designed for open-loop circuits and delivers great performance for applications where power density, durability and control precision are key.
This pump supports a maximum continuous pressure of approximately 350 bar (5,000 psi) and peak pressures up to about 400 bar (5,800 psi). It runs at shaft speeds up to 2,400 RPM for high flow output for large hydraulic circuits. These specs make the XD5-150 a great option for large construction equipment, mining rigs, material-handling systems, industrial presses and mobile power units that need to run steady under heavy loads and long duty cycles.
Inside the XD5-150 is Oilgear’s advanced internal design. The hydrodynamic bearing supports the cylinder barrel, reducing friction and increasing service life. The pump has a “hard-on-hard” rotating group design, with hardened surfaces on critical sliding components which allows for contamination tolerance and operation with low-viscosity fluids. These features mean longer life, greater reliability and less maintenance even in harsh environments or high-duty mobile applications.
The control system on the XD5-150 has displacement adjustment for smooth flow and rapid system response when demand changes. This makes it ideal for systems where motion control, quick cycling and consistent output matters. The pump’s compact footprint and high capacity makes it perfect for mobile hydraulics, retrofit applications and new builds where space and weight is restricted but performance can’t be compromised.
The XD5-150 has multiple porting options, side or rear ports, and is available in various mounting and shaft configurations. Engineers can choose rotation (left or right) and sealing materials (Viton or Buna-N) to match the machine’s fluid, environment and service conditions. These options make integration easier, reduce system modification and make maintenance or upgrades simpler.
